Whether you’re filling your basket or refilling your jars, the store is built around real human service, like the old days. They’ll weigh your apples, refill your jars, and pack your groceries by hand. You can even drop off your containers and they’ll fill them for you, ready for pick-up.

At Harvest Yarck Cafe, they serve nourishing dishes made from the same beautiful ingredients you’ll find on their shelves. You can purchase many of the items used in their menu – from pantry staples and grains to fresh produce, dairy, and plant-based alternatives. They have the best coffee in the North East and their smoothies are delicious.

Behind the baskets of vibrant produce and nourishing pantry goods are Jane and Ian, the couple who bring soul and purpose to everything done at the store and cafe.

FESTIVALS & EVENTS

Alexandra Pro Rodeo

28 Mar 2026

The 10th annual Alexandra Pro Rodeo has been postponed from January due to bushfires. However, they have pushed it back to March and turned it into a fantastic bushfire recovery event. More bands, more stages, more fun around the arena and just as much rodeo action.

This event continues to be regarded as one of the favourite rodeos on the APRA circuit by cowboys, cowgirls and attendees alike. Beyond a full afternoon of action on the arena, visitors can enjoy food stalls, kids amusements, markets and merchandise, bars, and entertainment on the main stage until midnight.

Make a weekend of it, and enjoy the rest that the local region has to offer on the best weekend in March. Proceeds from this event will go directly back to supporting impacted communities following the January 2026 bushfires.
