Bucks Country Bakehouse

Since 1971, the Wright family has been baking up smiles right here in Yarck. From their famous pie to sweet treats and seriously good coffee, everything’s made fresh in-store with love.

They also have a fully stocked freezer with all your favourite frozen pies in case you want to take some home to enjoy again. Craving a pie at midnight? No worries, they’ve got Australia’s first-ever 24/7 Frozen Pie ATM right out the front.

If you’re gluten-free grab your pies out the freezer and they can heat it up in 10 minutes or head to their new online ordering app to place a pick up coffee or gluten free heat up order.

They stock assorted local produce as well as Bucks Bakehouse merchandise, meat rubs and Boy and the Buck Coffee Beans.

Rotary Club of Alexandra Easter Art Show

The 56th Alexandra Rotary Easter Art Show will showcase the works of many talented artists, both local and from further afield.

The Show has returned to its spiritual home, the Alexandra Shire Hall, a grand old building in walking distance from the commercial hub of Alexandra.

The works on display include paintings in oil and watercolour, sculptures, photography, and fine-quality woodwork.

Come along on the opening night, Good Friday evening to have the first opportunity to purchase works from those displayed, and enjoy a drink and tasty nibbles.

Funds raised go towards Rotary projects, with a special focus this year on addressing the scourge of Domestic and Family Violence.

Tickets for Opening Night can be pre-booked through Try Booking, or purchased at the door on the night.
