The reserve is on crown land under the control of the Department of Environment, Energy and Climate Action and is managed by the Molesworth Reserve Committee of Management. Guests can access shower and toilet blocks, laundry room with coin-operated washing machines and drier. The laundry also has a book exchange library.
The reserve is dog friendly, however, some rules do apply. Campfires are also welcome but must be contained within a designated fire pit and not permitted on days of a total fire ban or when the caretakers deem it too dangerous to have fires within the reserve.
There are also free undercover electric barbecues, tables and seating located behind the pavilion. In the rear of the pavilion is a camp kitchen with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, kettle and dining table and chairs which is available for all campers to use free of charge. The pavilion also features an entertainment area including satellite television.
