Steavenson Falls
One of the region’s most iconic waterfalls, plummeting 84 metres and flowing all year round, is Steavenson Falls. An easy and level graded 700m walk takes you from the car park to a viewing platform at the base of the falls where you can take in the view of one of Victoria's highest waterfalls. Another 800m walk up a steep meandering path, taking approx. 30 minutes, leads you to the top of the falls, offering spectacular views over the valley and the Marysville State Forest.
The falls are incredible in early spring and provide water to run a small hydroelectric plant that supplies power to light the falls at night until 11pm. Toilet facilities and wheelchair access to the viewing platform at the base of the falls are available.
