SCENIC DRIVES AND LOOKOUTS AWAIT 🚗🌅

Wondering how you can support our region to recover? While some parts of Murrindindi Shire have been devasted by the recent fires, most of our visitor attractions and experiences (including those featured in this video) haven’t been impacted. Our businesses are open and ready to welcome you!

Murrindindi, or Dindi as the locals like to call it, is renowned for breathtaking scenic drives and lookouts, each offering a unique perspective on the region’s diverse landscapes. Touring Dindi is the perfect way to explore this spectacular part of @seehighcountry.

Drive up and over the Great Divide, wind through lush rainforests, stop off in charming towns and villages while admiring spectacular views. Journey through the majestic Black Spur or wind your way down the Murchison Gap with views of the Valley of a Thousand Hills. Take in the awe-inspiring views of the rolling hills, pristine lakes and mountain ranges. Capture the perfect moment with bucket-list worthy sunrise and sunset locations.

Break up the journey with a meal along the way at a local bakery, cafe or historic country pub. Enjoy a tipple at a winery, brewery or distillery, scattered throughout the region, or pick up supplies at a local market or produce store.

Gather the family for a daytrip to remember. Better still pack the car for a romantic weekend away or a mid-week staycation with mates choosing from the many accommodation options on offer.

💦 Visit the iconic #SteavensonFalls, or one of the lesser known but equally worthwhile falls and cascades nearby.

🚵‍♀️ Hit the bike trails, with plenty of road cycling, gravel riding and mountain biking on offer, including the epic Cascades Trail from #LakeMountain to #Marysville.

🚗 Take a scenic drive through the #BlackSpur and hike or drive to #KeppelLookout with spectacular views across Marysville, Cathedral Range State Park and the Acheron Valley.

🛝 Cool off in the river or take a dip at the local pool, spend some time with the kids at the state-of-the-art playground and refuel at one of the cafés, pubs and shops.

A peaceful sunset on the water, surrounded by Lake Eildon National Park after spending the day swimming, fishing or boating on the lake... what more could you want?! 😍

You can hire a house boat from @watersedgehouseboathire, kick up your feet and relax on the deck with family and friends, or even throw the rod in for a fish!

Calling all MTB riders... we've got your next ride sorted at Lake Mountain! 🙌🚲

Cascades is one of Victoria’s best mountain bike trails and has quickly become a strong favourite in the mountain bike community .. you'd be silly not to try it! 😍

🚵It's an intermediate adventure run with advanced features, this all-mountain trail flows for 30km from the top of Lake Mountain Alpine Resort through beautiful alpine forest all the way down to Marysville!

⚠️The ride takes 3-5 hours to complete, so be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks.

ℹ️ Make sure you book your mountain bike shuttles with @lakemountainresort early to avoid disappointment!

Golden hour at the Eildon Pondage gets us every time 😍

The Eildon Pondage is a short walk from the Eildon shops and looks pretty spectacular at any time of day, especially at sunrise and sunset 👀

Sit back and listen to the surrounding ducks quack, cast a line in and give fishing a go or complete the 6km circuit around the pondage on foot, by bike or with your furry best friend by your side 🦆

Spend the night at the nearby @eildonpondageholidaypark or follow the extended trail out to
@breezeholidayparks Eildon 🛌
