Suitable for day trippers, and set among gorgeous rainforest, enjoy a peaceful day out at Cambarville Picnic Area and discover the remnants of Cambarville, a once-thriving sawmilling settlement.

Learn about the history of the area and explore Cumberland Falls along the Cambarville Circuit Walk located in the Yarra Ranges National Park.

The Cambarville Circuit Walk allows you to wander through Alpine Ash and Myrtle Beech forest. Discover Cora Lynn and Cumberland Falls hidden in a deep fern-laden gully and take in the views over the Cumberland Valley from Sovereign View.

The Big Culvert is a historic granite and bluestone arch along the Yarra Track, a major route to Melbourne through the 1800s. Built in 1870 and a major piece of infrastructure for its time, the heritage listed culvert allowed water to flow under the often-flooded road.

Dogs are not permitted, however, assistance dogs are welcome. Toilets are not available.

The Big Culvert, Cora Lynn Falls and the Big Tree carpark can be accessed via the Marysville-Woods Point Road, while the Cambarville Picnic area and the Cambarville Historic Precinct and Circuit Walk can be accessed via the Cambarville Rd. For further information please visit the website.
